Giving supports the people and programs that make TRS so special - from our talented teachers and small class sizes, to learning resources, and teaching that is centered around what is best for each child. TRS gives children a solid foundation to build upon for lifelong success.

Benefits of Fundraising and Giving Back
A financially healthy school community is a stable, nurturing presence in a child’s life. TRS helps during a child’s formative years to engage them and allow for important growth and development. The school also plays an invaluable role in teaching parenting skills and encouraging us all to be supportive of everyone in our community.

There are many ways to become involved at TRS and fundraising provides one of those avenues. This shared work makes our community stronger. TRS appreciates the valuable resource that volunteers provide and at TRS we know that each gift of time, talent and money makes an enormous difference.

As you can see in the pie chart below our largest fundraising efforts are through the Fund for TRS which supports teachers, followed by the annual auction (The Raleigh COOL) designated to add dollars to our tuition assistance fund.
