Kelly Banik is our New Head of School.

She recently moved from Philadelphia and started her tenure on July 1st.

We look forward to hosting events for Raleigh School Alumni families to meet and welcome her to our community.

Steve Sather is retiring.

We are happy for him and for the many years he has devoted to teaching at TRS.
Luckily, he will still be around leading Science Olympiad teams this coming year.

Campus construction this summer.

The Raleigh School elementary play spaces are undergoing a dramatic transformation.

Class Notes

Camille Churchwell, Class of 2007 recently spent time living in France and teaching ESL.

Trevor Gordon, Class of 2007 attended UNC-CH and is currently working at IQVIA as a RWE Associate Site Manager.

Kerri Stanton, Class of 2007 is working in development and community engagement for the Dorthea Dix Park Conservancy.

Owen Fitzgerald, Class of 2008 received degrees in Computer Science and History from Duke and is working at SportsMedia Technology Corp as a software developer.

Jay Ramger, Class of 2008 graduated from NC State and will be entering law school at Howard University this fall.

Julia Sawchak, Class of 2008 accepted a position with Gap and following six weeks of training in San Francisco, will be living and working in NYC.

Caleb Norfleet, Class of 2010 spent the summer in Hawaii with an engineering internship.

Matthew Glosson, Class of 2010 traveled with the band, Chatham County Line this summer as a front of the house engineer, doing sound for concerts in Colorado, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Grace Goetz, Class of 2012 will be joining the lacrosse team at University of Connecticut.

Jessica Judge, Class of 2012 signed a commitment letter to row at UNC-CH starting this fall.

Will Newman, Class of 2012 recently received the TIASC Sportsmanship Award.

Lyndon Wood, Class of 2012 will be attending Wake Forest and playing for the women's soccer team.

Kathryn Chao, Class of 2014 took part in a summer enrichment program called Urban Design for Social Justice.

Best of luck to our newest alumni, Class of 2019, who will be starting 6th grade at Cary Academy; Daniels; Exploris; Ligon; Pine Hollow; Ravenscroft; St. David's; St. Timothy's; and Wake Leadership Academy.
