Community Events

We come together as a community several times a year to celebrate and enjoy events for all ages, from Preschool through 5th Grade. Our gatherings include school-wide traditions, parent education events, and special experiences unique to each grade level, such as Harry Potter Day in 4th Grade or Pajama Day in Preschool. These moments strengthen connections and enrich the learning journey at every stage.

Carnival

This annual community-building event is a Raleigh School tradition and takes place each fall. The fun-filled day features games, inflatables, a preschool section, crafts, an obstacle course, a photo booth, magician shows, and more. Alumni come back to help volunteer during the day. Food trucks are on hand to offer food for purchase. 


 

The Raleigh Cool

This adult-only event is the perfect opportunity to meet other Raleigh School parents while sampling the area's food, local beer, and wine. The atmosphere is casual and fun. Tickets include basic beverages, or a COOL Lounge ticket features cocktails and mocktails. There is an exciting live auction plus silent auction items to bid on that evening. We also invite alumni parents and alumni who are 21 and older. Proceeds benefit the tuition assistance fund.

Grandparents & Grandfriends' Day

We invite our special visitors to campus each spring to enjoy a reception, a sharing program, and time in classrooms. Hosting this day gives everyone at TRS great joy and provides an opportunity for young children to share their learning experiences with their grandparents and grandfriends.
