Parent Education
Parent education is an important component of The Raleigh School.
The parent education committee provides informative, thought and discussion provoking educational programs related to children, parenting, education and family issues for Raleigh School parents and other interested parties. Parent education sessions occur at least four times throughout the school year.
Parent education also occurs informally throughout the school year. Members of the administrative team, especially the elementary and preschool directors, provide information on various topics via small group meetings, email, and parent notes. Teachers send frequent notes and newsletters to parents. Our head of school also has a blog that focuses on parenting and educational considerations.
